To maintain optimal oral hygiene, it’s important to both brush and floss your 🦷 ⬇️

**Start with Flossing**: Flossing before brushing helps remove food particles and plaque from between your teeth and under your gumline, areas that a toothbrush can’t reach.

** Technique**
- Use about 18 inches of dental floss, winding most of it around your middle fingers, leaving an inch or two to work with.
- Hold the floss tightly between your thumbs and forefingers.
- Curve the floss into a “C” shape against the side of one tooth and slide it under the gumline. Move the floss up and down, cleaning the side of the tooth.

**Brush Properly**:
- Brush for Two Minutes**: Make sure to brush for at least two minutes to thoroughly clean all surfaces of your teeth.
- Brush Your Tongue**: Gently brush your tongue to remove bacteria and freshen your breath.
